Change Details

It's easy to create a button or link in wikitext using `mw-ui-` classes. It's harder to do so using OOUI's markup, so we don't have a good story to move [[ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Button_templates | button templates ]] and other wikitext UI elements to OOUI. A solution is to implement parser tag(s) that render OOUI PHP widgets (and also load the necessary ResourceLoader modules). The OOUIPlayground extension implements something like this in its `<ooui-demo>` tag for the #WikimediaUI_Style_Guide ({T88026}), see discussion in {T98395}.
