**Setup** - MediaWiki 1.31.0 (568bd6d) 14:33, 30 July 2018 - PHP 7.0.30-0+deb9u1 (apache2handler) - MariaDB 10.1.26-MariaDB-0+deb9u1 **Issue** When importing a XML-file from a foreign wiki and specifying an interwiki pefix (mandatory) via special page "Import" the user name is being imported incorrectly. User e.g. "Foo.Bar" is being imported as user "prefix>Foo.Bar". So how can I avoid the `>` being added to the user name. I believe that this is quite a substantial error.
