It would be nice to have stats on prometheus about haproxy service. There is code at: https://github.com/prometheus/haproxy_exporter That way Grafana graphs could be created to observe anomalies.

We have haproxy-exporter packaged, however dbproxy hosts still lack the puppetization and Prometheus jobs to make the haproxy metrics available.
