References (or lack thereof) to the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) should be clarified on mediawiki.org. The GFDL 1.3 and CC BY-SA 4.0 [are the default licenses](https://foundation.wikimedia.org/wiki/Policy:Terms_of_Use#7._Licensing_of_Content) for content across all Wikimedia projects, including mediawiki.org. Content imported does not need to be GFDL-compatible, though, if it is compatible with CC BY-SA 4.0.
