Such links impossible to understand

Event Timeline

@Sunpriat: Can you please describe which specific types of emails you refer to, and *how* to "make emails more friendly" and what exactly can help to "understand" links? Also see https://mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug for more information.
Currently the problem isn't well defined in this task, hence it is hard to find potential solutions. Thanks!

  1. See the first link - here the article "article (specification)". The last bracket is not caught by link and link breaks down.
  1. For letters on change in the watch list you will receive an email from aliens - 50% consisting of "%D0%BD%D0%B8%D1%8F"

The Wikipedia interface itself, we see links that can read people. For example tabs articl /discussion. We do not see the full link.
In a letter to come links which asks users to click, but you click on the "%D0%BD%D0%B8%D1%8F" and it is terrible and incomprehensible. It is impossible to read.
A short explanation above a large link not enough. Perhaps, for developers main language is English, and letter come to they without this "%D0%BD%D0%B8%D1%8F".

It will be more convenient if the "%D0%BD%D0%B8%D1%8F" are hidden links, and links text contain normal, readable words.

This is a huge difference

For example, notification letter. There is no url. It's easy and convenient.

That is a bug in the email client used...

Regarding HTML mail that could be possible. Very likely not for plain text email...
