Use-case: As an IP editor, I would like to be able to edit my newly saved posts, to fix an error I only notice after saving.

Current situation: IP editors cannot edit posts once saved. This is (if I remember correctly) because many IP addresses are shared, or change regularly.

Previous discussion: We discussed the idea some time ago, of allowing IPs to edit their posts, if they did so within a limited timeframe (a number of minutes; 5, or 30, or similar). This would enable them to fix their post, but would prevent a later user of the same IP address from vandalizing (overtly or with subtlety) the older posts that are tied to that address.
