Graduate 'New filters for edit review' out of beta, making it standard on all wikis
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

This is a list of tasks that are pre-requisites for graduating the New Filters for Edit Review out of beta.

Features to graduate out of beta

It's important to understand we are graduating only certain parts of the RC page improvements out of beta-mostly the parts that were initially released and have, therefore, been road tested and bug fixed. In addition, a couple of later additions are of high value and have been in beta for a while. The new "standard" RC page will include the following:

  • All initial New Filters beta features, including the new filters menu, the Active Filter Display Area, highlighting, ORES filters and Experience level filters). Plus:
  • Watchlisted pages filters
  • Last revisions filters
  • Bookmarking / Saved Filters menu

Tickets pertaining to those features that require completion:

T169997: RecentChanges very slow on Wikidata when RCFilters beta is enabled
T165350: wikipage.content is fired twice on RC load with new filters
T168501: When querying for multiple tags, and more than one is in the edit, duplicate results
T166600: Change the name of the 'Earlier revisions' filter
T165160: Unify the "user registration" and "experience level" groups
T164997: Change language describing "Likely" filters to avoid mentioning "May" filters
T169613: Introduce the New Filters to users upon beta graduation
T163263: Revise RC Filters documentation about Quality and Intent filters in light of changes to ORES functions
T163279: Update RC and Watchlist Preferences Help to reflect consolidation of preferences
T170210: 'Restore all default settings' starts the invite tour and highlight count on RC page
T167262: Server-launched guided tour can show on the wrong page if the user navigates away before full page load
T163164: [mobile-wmf.20] RC page - UI issues
T169053: Improve the language of the "What's this?" links in the filters panel on Recent Changes
T164861: Tweaks to Quick Links design & functions
T162630: 'Wikidata edits' filter with 'Contribution quality prediction' or 'User intent prediction' returns results but the filter selection displayed as a conflict

Tickets I'm not sure about—let's discuss

T164292: Long search times for combo of “Very likely good” + (“Likely bad faith” OR "V. likely bad faith" OR "May be bad faith")
T164796: Very long search times on RC Page for "Very likely good faith" + "Likely have problems" (on en.wiki only?)
T169835: Enhanced RC expand/collapse arrows are not shown when starting from a conflict state
T51315: [Story] record wikibase recent change entries attributed as non-anon
T158025: Support ORES for propagated Wikidata edits I gather this is a significant project?
