Goal

What do we need to do to have the outcomes of Wikifunctions be desirable for our communities?

Why are we doing this?

We want to ensure that the choices that we make in designing and building Wikifunctions are in line with the goals and needs of our target language communities (BN, ML, HA, IG, DAG). We want to avoid making assumptions about our target/partner communities.

User story

As a member of one of Wikifunctions' target communities, I want the outcomes of Wikifunctions to be desirable for me, so that I can benefit from Wikifunctions.

What work might be involved?

Generative research to learn more about our target communities
Outreach work to ensure that we have partners to build, test and design with in each community
Usability testing and user interviews with members of our target communities
Development of personas representing sub-audiences within each of our communities or across our communities
Translation and general language support for user facing documentation and interfaces in each language
