Description

First/Last name should not be mandatory fields at https://lists.wikimedia.org/user-profile/. They ain't even mandatory upon registration at https://lists.wikimedia.org/accounts/signup. While I can (and do) introduce random nonsense there, I don't feel we should require these. Maybe an upstream fix is required. I am not sure, thus filing here. Thanks.

Fixed upstream. Not in any release yet as far as I can see.

I'll close this task since the fix upstream was merged and there's nothing AFAIK left to do here. Once this gets into a tagged release, it'll be applied to us if T286217 if/when T286217 moves forward.
