Members of Ombuds commission have discussed and decided to request creation of a form where all Ombuds cases should be placed. All cases are currently opened by e-mail sent to "cu-ombuds-l@lists.wikimedia.org", by using third party software. There is no other way of contacting Ombuds using Wikimedia means. Its usual that messages won't provide links, nor mention users involved and lack other important information. We plan to reduce this issue with the form.
Its model should be similar with the form used by Stewards, but with specific parameters to better fit the OC needs. In this draft, you will find the parameters we would like to see when creating the form.
It is intended to make the description of cases more straightforward and reduce the commission's workload, which usually spends much of its time collecting links, trying to better understand the problem pointed out and the solutions sought.
