I noticed and think you're right, but look at the other existing mailing lists, they are all like arbcom-XX. On itwiki they asked me exactly arbcom-it.

Probably obsolete and from the bygone era. New mailing lists shouldn't be created with the old problematic patterns (e.g with -l)

Hi @Niharika, these blocks are amazing and very useful in my opinion, as I have already told you. There is probably an underlying problem in understanding them for some users (at least this is what I noticed during testing). I've often seen admins blocking an action (for example "creation of pages") and a namespace at the same time, thinking that in this way they were blocking the creation of pages only on that namespace (while instead they blocked the "creation of pages" sitewide and any edit to that namespace). Now, I hope that soon we can get to partial blocks (on individual namespaces or pages) also with actions (moving/creating a page) because this would be really useful but, for now, imho the tech documentation should be clarified and this issue must be well explained. Thanks for your work :)

Hi @Dbrant: How should this work in practice? I mean, where do the requests go? In the general renamer queue, or in a queue reserved for vanish (or necessarily by email?)? If you plan to create a queue on a special page (maybe in the future), please consider to list the requests per wiki. Furthermore, the message Thanks! that the vanish a form of courtesy for closing an account and may not be granted in some cases (such as active blocks etc.), and that, if the user will reuse the abandoned user, the vanish could be reverted. You could also add that the logs will never be totally private, but I'd honestly avoid that. Thanks!

@SRuizR Let me explain quickly: If we disable magic words, you cannot use both NOINDEX and INDEX (and we should do it on single namespace). Imho you should choose the namespace that you don't want to index, then we can set robot policy as "no index, no follow" for that namespace, and disable the use of NOINDEX and INDEX. But you cannot disable only INDEX sitewide - because also NOINDEX won't work and this is made per namespace (you can try using a filter for this)! So, if you know the namespaces that you want to set as noindex, we can proceed on those namespaces :)
