We attempted the transactions and these failed as they were declined by issuing banks and now we are retrying them. @Ejegg Elliott, I just saw the open question above which I think is still open. I say we bill on the new reactivation date since retries don't adhere to the normal charge date.

@Ejegg To be clear, we weren't suspecting there was any problem. We just want to try to recapture a 4th time since it is allowably by the card scheme rules, so we have as many live donors as possible as we close out recurring donors on Ingenico. Also this is a peak time of year so thought a 4th attempt might rescue some donors as a one shot attempt.

@greg Affinaquest said sometime in the next year the current search will stop working but they have not published a date. They made it clear they are not updating the current search mechanism/approach going forward from now.

Posting this here as well as Slack: The debit penetration in Brazil is sub 1%. I suggest it doesn't need its own flow.

@AKanji-WMF @ERoden-WMF My instinct is that this sort of data should be picked up in a finance application and analyzed there. Civi may be the wrong place for it but it's what we have. What we do today is manual, time consuming and cumbersome to grab and analyze frankly and not sophisticated or nimble. It needs some sort of systemic automation given how frequently we should track it. I know Finance is pulling it from reports and keying it, as are we. I'd like to improve this but aside from the data fields, we need the analytics on top of it to be worthwhile.

Conclusion on approach: Peter will attempt to pull portions of the Venmo library into the flow to attempt detection of the non-supported configuration such that we don't prevent Venmo in the banner if it is not supported. We will then test this out in a further pretest. No action required from FRTech at this time. Regrouping in a week to update on Peter's thoughts on this.

If we can't properly support the flow with browser detection, then we will not add a notice. We would instead not offer Venmo. Ok, I have submitted the problem to Pim in email. I assume that means he will have to re supply all of the files to Adyen with all echodata fields and they have to reimport with that populated or we cannot bill, correct? I know we had the ORDERID populated into the as the shopperReference field, but we need both values to bill correctly. Do I have that straight @Ejegg?

@Ejegg Thanks Elliott! Then from Pim we want:

• the 32,118 blank rows in the first file (1a.csv) Echodata field populated fully with the Ingenico tokens. Some are blank and we see are valid recurring donors and some have **** where the token should be. Let me get that out to him. We won't hear until Monday as he is in Central EU. Are the other 4 files looking good?

I emailed Pim at Ingenico today to understand why this field would be blank.
