How did you install it? Using precompiled package or you compiled it yourself? In that case the output of make install told you exactly what got copied where. If you don't have this output you can run make install again, it would just overwrite the existing files, but you would see where it went.

The destinations of files are distribution specific.

There should be make uninstall as well but cmake doesn't seem to generate it
