I saw something very strange today as I was looking through Special:Newimages on Wikimedia Commons. The thumbnail that displayed on Special:Newimages did not match the image that was uploaded. Instead, the thumbnail was of a deleted image by the same name as the file being uploaded.

The image that was uploaded is http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Fox.jpg

The thumbnail that was displayed in Special:Newimages was of the deleted image by the same name, http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Undelete&target=Image%3AFox.jpg&file=0r9x8ugrbor4ppt20ymv3dy8hxyh81i3.jpg (uploaded 21:22, 15 November 2006).
