Tell Privacy Badger which pages belong to Wikimedia so it doesn't block cross-wiki requests
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I wrote an application checking the cross-wiki eligibility a while ago. Now, with Privacy Badger, a user reported the request to their home wiki was automatically classified as high threat.

I see discussion is already taking place upstream and at T108505

@Krenair So MediaWiki / WMF do not consider implementing tracking-dnt?

I don't know. Maybe? I don't think it's in scope for Wikimedia-Site-requests

Hmm. On MediaWiki-Configuration it says "Issues relating to configuration of MediaWiki on Wikimedia sites" should go to site-requests. Anyway, hard to say whether this is something that MediaWiki could support partially out-of-the box at all or whether this needs 100% custom configuration.

Pppery subscribed.

Privacy badger has supported MDFP for ages. Closing.
