This makes using other extensions, like Simple Forms, impossible (though its output is seen on the form page but not when "transcluded" onto Special:EditData). See http://www.tnlc.com/wiki/index.php?title=Special:AddData/Form:Game/test for an example of the problems this causes. Perhaps I wouldn't HAVE to use Simple Forms if Semantic Forms supported non-SMW-specific common HTML form elements...
