Description

Currently, when you edit a page, MediaWiki displays a list of templates used by this page (MediaWiki:Templatesused, example: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Foobar&action=edit).

However this list is not displayed when editing only a section and not the full page (example: Template:wiktionarypar doesn't show up at http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Foobar&action=edit&section=5).

It'd be very nice to have a list of all templates used by the section you are editing.

• bzimport added a subscriber: Unknown Object (MLST).

Duping this to bug 878. Required implementation would be to basically do a hidden preview when opening the section edit.
