See after the word "also" that the blue highlight appears outside of the textbox.

This is in Chrome, on OTRS-wiki.

This seems like a Chrome bug, I can reproduce the same thing with a plain textarea.

Please file a bug upstream (https://crbug.com/) if you think this is a problem.

This seems impossible/impractical to work around in MediaWiki, even if we wanted to.
