It would be extremely helpful if OpenRefine would include an *operational* reconciliation service with Wikidata. It would make data imports so much easier, by offering a tool with which values from an external dataset can be matched much more easily and correctly with Wikidata.

You can earn money by coding it: there's a bounty of currently $265.

@Magnus created a reconciliation API on the Wikidata side, but the implementation on the OpenRefine side is still missing. See the thread on GitHub linked above for input on that.
