Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Author: cbm.wikipedia

Description:
When an attempt is made to rollback an edit when only one user has edited a page, the resulting error page has uses showPermissionsErrorPage(), which causes an inaccurate page title (the title from MediaWiki:Permissionserrors) to be used. A user and a screenshot when the error message on enwiki was 'Unauthorized':

This is not user-friendly, and a the ability ot use a different error message would be helpful.

Just changing the version; Wikimedia uses 1.12-svn.

Indeed, the same error message shows when a user tries to rollback a change which is already rolled back by another user. Instead of a "roll back failed" we get a "permission error" which doesn't make sense.

[[Mediawiki:Rollbackfailed]] has been added some time ago.
