Using MediaWiki 1.11.1 with ParserFunctions v1.1.1 and ExtensionFunctions, the {{#categorytree}} parser function displays tags along with the output text instead of executing the tags. Output appears like:

[<a href="#" onclick="this.href='javascript:void(0)'; categoryTreeExpandNode( data ,'10',this);" title="expand">+</a>] <a class="CategoryTreeLabel CategoryTreeLabelNs14 CategoryTreeLabelCategory" href="/wiki/index.php?title=Category:data">Category:data</a>

The <categorytree> tag works fine, but the same garbage.
