Support subproperties in #ask query printouts
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Author: dasch

Description:
I think the use of subepropertys is very small at the moment, in many cases the <ask>-query does not deliver the desired output

  1. When querying for an SUPpropery like [[SUPproperty::*]] an there ist more then one SUBproperty the output is empty, in my opinion it schon deliver all propertys
  2. Wehn querying for an SUPproperty like [[SUPproperty::Value]] an there is always one SUBproperty used there is only a list of pages, but you can not recognize the SUBproperty that was found with this value

These are two different things. Let's keep BUG#13150 as the place to consider (2) and leave this bug being about (1) only. This enhancement is planned, but requires some internal extensions such as to ensure that not all requests use subproerties (e.g. Special:Browse should not include all superproperties).
