Description

Art+Feminism is holding its annual editathon at Museum of Modern Art in NYC in conjunction with Wikimedia NYC, AfroCrown, and others. We would like to request a temporary lift of the IP cap for the location on this Saturday March 11, 2017, from 0:00 am – 6:00 pm Eastern Time.

Please do so for these IPs: 38.125.33.54 and 38.125.15.118

We'd like the cap to be lifted on English Wikipedia and other projects if possible, since will include multilingual editing.

The IP cap can't be removed, it can be only lifted. How many accounts would you like to create, 50? 70? More? Also AFAIK I can't lift the IP cap for all projects but only for same of them. You can instruct participants to create accounts at English Wikipedia (so the lift will be enabled) and then they can edit everywhere (there aren't any related limits).

Hi @Urbanecm, thanks for clarifying verbiage. We expect about 200 editors. We never know how many will be new, but maybe lets say 75 accounts. Understood re: language. They will most likely be starting on en.wiki, so fine to keep it there and have them migrate afterwards.

Thank you for your reply! Okay, I set 250 as the limit so even if all editors will be new you should fit the limit and made the lift active at enwiki and commons.
