Description

Gentlemen, on the search results page we see e.g.,

Showing below results 1 - 14 of 14

Therefore, printing

View (previous 20) (next 20) (20 | 50 | 100 | 250 | 500)

is not necessary and distracts the user.

Please apply the knowledge of how many results were found when
deciding if to offer previous/next choices, and how many of them to offer.

This knowledge *is* applied in the sense that "next 20" is not a link. If there were >20 search results, "next 20" would be a link to the next 20.

We might grey it out, additionally to not making it a link. Maybe that's clearer.

Please consider a device independent view of things.
There are many situations when linked or not linked text will look the
same. Therefore go one step further and just don't print the
non-existent choices. linked or not.
E.g., Google only prints page choices 2 3 4 if that is all there is.

If one cuts and pastes, prints, or mails such choice lists, link vs. non linked distinctions are lost, so it would be best not to print them in the first place
if they don't exist.
