CropTool (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:CropTool) is an invaluable tool for cropping images on Wikimedia Commons.

Presently, it does not support cropping .tif (or .tiff) image files which have become more prevalent on Commons in recent years.

So it would be very useful for users on Wikimedia Commons to be able to crop these files as well, so i would like to request the addition of this functionality to CropTool. Thank you.
