Can this be fixed please? This means that now the many links pointing to
permissions on the wikis do not work anymore. Ok; you can use the search
function to look up the ticket but that is not the idea.

This isn't a bug, it's people using the internal link the wrong way (we probably should have used TicketNumber instead of TicketID in the past, but we can't change that now or we'll break bunches of links). We were talking about this yesterday on IRC, you can request a link directly to the ticket on [[Talk:Interwiki map]]. For example, an "ticket:" or "otrs#:" that links to "https://secure.wikimedia.org/otrs/index.pl?Action=AgentTicketZoom&TicketNumber=WHATEVER".

For new links [[Ticket:]] can be used.

Please do not migrate all of the old links on the wiki. Wait to see if this can be fixed in software first.

I've added a redirect from these particular TicketID URLs to the corresponding TicketNumber URL. The ticket number must be of the kind that includes the date. Very old ticket numbers (before August 2005) did not include the date, and will not redirect.
