I wasn't able to assign the ticket to 'ldap/wmf 'as there is no user (or group) result where I can select that.

There isn't an actual user to assign it to, just tagging it in to this project was enough! I'm on clinic duty this week, so I've picked this up.
I've created the patchset for the admin module, merged it live, and appended your user into the wmf ldap group.

Not sure if it matters but there's an 'e' missing from my username in the comments.

I noticed that right AFTER i merged it, since the commit message won't affect the actual patch. You should be all set, since the actual file has your name spelled properly.
