link git://example.org/ just like you do for gopher://example.org/
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

MediaWiki should recognize and make a hyperlink when encountering the
git://example.org/ protocol by default,
just like it does for ftp://example.org/ and even
gopher://example.org/ currently.

At least one could "copy link location" with their mouse that way,
instead of cut and paste.

WORKSFORME with http://mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:$wgUrlProtocols. Don't see a massively pressing reason to add it to the defaults though (otherwise, why not add ssh://, svn://, and any number of other links we don't have by default).
