The cursor appears in a different place from where the characters are actually being edited (usually a couple of characters ahead of where it should be). Additionally, highlights and the red underline for misspelled words is also in the wrong place (the same place as the cursor).

When I type, the cursor and where the characters are appearing should be the same place.
