CSS issues in the WDQS Query Helper
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

There are some visual issues with the Query Helper of the Wikidata Query Service (WDQS). I attach a high-contrast screenshot using Firefox.

original-marked.png (543×900 px, 99 KB)

  • 1 - Border-top is discontinued, no border-left is shown.
  • 2 - .table-hover overflows some parent element.
  • 3 - The second icon starts a new line.
  • 4 - Border-top looks gray, but border-right looks blue.
  • 5 - Border-right is discontinued, no border-bottom is shown.
  • 6 - [Subjective] A .panel-body with additional shadow and margin doesn't make much sense at the present time, this element could be filling the entire .query-helper .resizable panel.

These issues are shown with the default width of the Helper. If I expand the Helper enough, 2 and 3 disappear, while 1, 4, 5 and 6 persist. Similar issues are shown when the Helper is placed at the top, that is, when I narrow my window.
