@Peteforsyth: Is this about https://tools.wmflabs.org/croptool/ ? (Clear steps to reproduce including an URL are generally welcome). If it is, https://tools.wmflabs.org/admin/tools lists https://github.com/danmichaelo/croptool as the place to report bugs to its maintainer(s).

Created an issue at https://github.com/danmichaelo/croptool/issues/111 . This seems to be an issue with older versions of ImageMagick, but I think I found a workaround.
