Requested name of the mailing list (ending in @lists.wikimedia.org):

Public Policy Closed Communications: ppcc@lists.wikimedia.org

Reasoning/explanation of purpose:

The public policy activities of Wikimedia have been growing and so has been the public policy mailing list (https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/publicpolicy). We however have the issue that sometimes it is not possible to plan a campaign, an action and share internal information on the public list, as it is read by a wide range of people. Therefore we need a closed list.

Secondary list administrator's email address:

anna@wikimedia.be

Hello, I'd be happy to create a new list for you.

One question -- In terms of naming, since this is intended to be the private channel for the existing list publicpolicy, how about the name publicpolicy-private? I ask because we have this convention is in use on several other lists. It sorts nicely and makes it apparent at a glance that the lists are related to each other.

I would also appreciate publicpolicy-cc (as in closed communications) but
both are fine by me.
