Server error message should include instructions for reloading instead of link
Open, LowPublic

Description

The error message which appears when the servers are not available includes a "try again later" link, which points to itself (that is, the URL the user tried to load when he got the error message). If the user was submitting (or previewing) text when the error happened, clicking on the try again link will result in losing it. The message should include instructions for reloading the page and thus resending the data and/or have the link do javascript reload on click.

What error are you talking about? The "Wikimedia error"?

Yes, that too (IIRC there are multiple types of error pages with a reload link, but I might be mistaken).

You should then look for the various bugs we have about each error and mark them as blockers of this one, as they're likely to be changed only one at a time and only as part of broader changes.
