Description:
By default, when you click the "edit this page" button, the resulting editpage is automatically scrolled down to the editbox. However, on pages with an editnotice, this is undesirable, and could lead to the editnotice being missed altogether.

I suggest that on pages with editnotices, there is no automatic scrolling.

As far as I know MediaWiki does not do any automatic scrolling. Is this something specific to en.wikipedia.org?
