Fault in delete-a-page when the page being deleted has a talk page.
Sometimes I need to delete a page (say X), which has a talk page (say Talk:X).
In that case, the page deletion deletes page X, and also offers to delete page Talk:X , with an option to display the text of the latest edit of page Talk:X .
OK so far.
The fault is that, recently including today, if page X has a talk page Talk:X, if the latest edit of Talk:X is a redirect (say to Talk:Y), the option to display the latest edit of Talk:X does not display that redirect, but instead displays the text of the latest edit of Talk:Y (i.e the page redirected to from Talk:X ).

Hi @Anthony_Appleyard, thanks for taking the time to report this! Which exact version of MediaWiki do you use?
What is "the fault" exactly? Please describe expected behavior and follow https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug - thanks!

Both the link to talk page and show preview are not provided by MediaWiki. This is a whole lot of hack by enwiki. The original message is just one line
