The toolbar introduced in Acai release does not support insertion of thumbnails. We will need a way to support them in the future.

Wouldn't this be trivial with a simple [ ] Thumbnail checkbox in a content generation dialog?
It will be part of the next version of the toolbar which will include content generation dialogs - but until then, we are not changing the function of the buttons, just the way they are presented to the user.
