When we totally screw everything up on a page, deleting it is our last, best hope for at least getting the title back. Pages with unknown content models, however, result in a MWUnknownContentModelException, preventing any action whatsoever to be taken against them, even deleting them in a last ditch attempt to at least make them go away.
