Additionally, when that text is correct, please change "This image" to "This file". Thanks.

I see no such message at the linked URL. Can you provide a screen shot, or list any custom gadgets you might be using which could add this?

Brion, sorry for not getting back to you timely, my notification for Comment #2 got lost. Yes, it (the behavior I described) is still happening for me. My interface language for Commons is English. I have attached two pics - Pic 1 is of the "it" that is happening, Pic 4 is of my preferences gadgets section "Language support". I have confirmed that I have to have gadget "MyLangNotify: Emphasizes your language description, or asks you to add one if it is missing." in that section checked in order to reproduce this bug. I like the effect this gadget has on my view of image description pages, but not on their revision histories. I use monobook, so my http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Jeff_G./monobook.css and http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Jeff_G./monobook.js (brief though they may be) are in effect. Pics 2, 3, and 5 are other sections of my preferences gadgets page that I took pics (screenshots) of while isolating this gadget. My most frequently checked user talk page is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Jeff_G. and I will be at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC later today.

Is your interface language set to "en-gb" rather than "en"?

This might be related to language variants taking their fallbacks from the languages/messages/ files rather than from on-site localizations in the fallback languages.

Probably though it is an issue on commons with their javascript.

No, straight "en - English".

This is a bug in the gadget at Commons. If it is not fixed already you can ask for help at the talk page for the gadget at Commons: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki_talk:Gadget-MyLangNotify.js
