"Try Beta" still appears while using Monobook theme in WP, as opposed to "Leave Beta"

Description:
When I finally got myself a Wikipedia Account and started using the beta Wikipedia, I switched back to the default Monobook theme, as opposed to the Vector theme used by default in the beta WP (I have a CSS modification that changes some the color scheme of Monobook). However, before applying my CSS modification, I noticed that the top of the page still said "Try Beta" although beta mode was on (extendable edit box toolbar, etc were still active.)
To reproduce the problem,:

  1. Sign into Wikipedia.
  2. Enter the beta Wikipedia.
  3. Switch the theme to Monobook through Preferences>Appearance.
  4. Save Changes.

Wikipedia should still say "leave beta" & "beta feedback".

My User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) ID:20090824101458

This wasn't caused by my CSS modification, as the problem existed before I applied the modification.

This is expected behavior. The "Try Beta" link will show up if you're not using all Beta features.

It is; enabling beta changes your skin to Vector.
