The error on the romanian wikipedia
While navigating on the Romanian Wikipedia, a fundraiser banner in turkish (I think) appeared on one page. See the attached screenshot.

The language handling code has been completely rewritten since 2009. Currently, banners should display in the language set in the user's preferences (or the language of the wiki for anonymous users). If the banner is not translated into the user's language, it should use the fallback for that language. The no translations in the fallback chain are available, it defaults to English. I'm going to close this as fixed as we haven't heard any reports of this problem since the code was rewritten last year. Please reopen if you see it happening again.
