As part of the larger initiative of creating technical means for integrating all information that one wants to be updated on into a centralized MediaWiki watchlist, it is proposed to modify or create an extension to allow watchlisting of Bugzilla bugs (possibly involving a change to AuthBugzilla).

Maybe Phabricator will be more integrated with MediaWiki. SUL support is planned.
Of course, that won't solve this bug.
