This is just a note to remember why mentioning/pinging someone does not work in https://wiki.wikimedia.it/.
Mentioning/pinging someone is an expected behavior available since recent versions of MediaWiki. Precisely this feature was introduced by the Extension:Echo but actually that extension is not part of our wiki and cannot be installed because it does not support our version (currently 1.26.4).
