Description

Wikimedia Italia is almost ready to adopt Matomo in some related websites to monitor stuff like the page generation average performance, 404 pages, ..., and make cute reports as well. Currently everything was achieved with AWStats so we may also take care of importing legacy data in Matomo.

This Task is about the adoption of Matomo in each known website and eventually import legacy data from AWStats.

Bonus points:

do not put the Matomo JavaScript tracker in case of Do Not Track preference

Just to note that we are waiting for an answer from the service provider of www.wikimedia.it that is the only one who can currently install a Matomo plugin.
