Description

A big part of the backend for most tools is integrating with some Wikimedia datasource. These include things like:

wiki replica databases
toolsdb databases
Data dumps
Action API
REST API
irc.wikimedia.org
EventStreams
AQS
Various restricted access datasets from Analytics

In the current "type" taxonomy for toolinfo records, "other" is the closest fit for a datasource. This seems like something we can fix in the hope that we can make these sources of data more discoverable via Toolhub.

I love this idea, it would also be a great way to connect our data documentation with tools that can serve as living examples of how to use the data sources and APIs.
