Like opening the diff will not remove the change from my watchlist unless I viewing the page. My watchlist filter settings include "unviewed changes".
There is no unviewed highlight style in the history page of this page.
I encounter it more often because of using https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Evad37/Watchlist-openUnread.

This also seems to happen when a page has been changed to a redirect.
