Description

Hello,

I just got an user report that uploading an image via UploadWizard gets stuck consistently for an JPG image that has 11 MB. The image I used to reproduce this can be found at https://people.wikimedia.org/~urbanecm/Taipei_Taiwan_Taipei-101-Tower-01.jpg.

I'm pretty certain that used to work before.

Did sth change in UW recently? Or am I mistaken?

the network tab shows API.php requests for action=upload&format=json&stash=1&checkstatus=true&filekey=1840w8uox9l0.gxcf5y.4351678.jpg&errorformat=html&errorlang=en&errorsuselocal=1&formatversion=2&token=REDACTED, which consistently returns {"upload":{"result":"Poll","stage":"queued"}}.

I discussed this briefly with @Joe, who tried to convince me this actually never worked, see T97539.

I'm still pretty sure this used to work before. I uploaded https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Ba%C5%A1ta_Prach%C3%A1rna.jpg back in 2016 via uploadwizard (see edit summary), and the file has 16+ MB, and was never overwriten.
