So experienced editors who edit a page with an page notice on VE have the same notice pop up each time they open a page taking over a large portion of the editing experience. Many of the notices are designed with text editor in mind (where its easy to scroll past in full screen). In VE, however, for occassional editors to a page, this is not a big deal, but if you are making many improvements to the same page it adds an additional click of the x out on a page. There should be a "mute for [x time period]" kind of button that allows users who are in the middle of an intensive series of edits can keep the notice closed for a window of time (something like 24 hours, or 48 hours or a week) where they would not reread the notice anyway.
