Description:
It seems that in the current version of Mediawiki (the one used on
en.wikipedia.org), a template included in a page is only evaluated the first
five times it appears. This is counter-intuitive and prevents the successful use
of (parametrised) templates on pages such as WP:VIP.

I assume that this is done for performance reasons, but it is quite annoying.
