On Wikidata, some properties with monolingual string datatype have multiple statements, one or several for each language. Statements for a given language, are generally considered together.

- Q185099#P1843 taxon Common name for "Water Rail". English, French, Latvian and Dutch have multiple statements (query).
Similarly other items with statements of the same property (Property_talk:P1843 counts 578,859 statements, these are on different 147471 items). Other properties where this may be useful:
The question is independent of the inclusion of one or the other values and the sorting of such statements by value or language.
Benefits (why should this be implemented?):
Makes statements quicker to read (by humans).
