search redirects from www to en double-encode url strings

Description:
I have a smart bookmark configured in my browser to search wikipedia. However,
when it forwards from "www." to "en." any url string (spaces, mainly) get
re-encoded. eg:

http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?search=foo%20bar

gets turned into:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?search=foo%2520bar

Works fine for urls like http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foo%20Bar

Please use the en.wikipedia.org host.
